  1. 请问- Qingwen- Excuse me

  2. 图书馆- Tushuguan- Library

  4. 哪人- Nar- Where

  5. 就- Jiu- Just

  6. 那人-Nar- there

  7. 食堂-Shitang- Dining hall

  8. 留学生- Liuxuesheng- Overseas student

  9. 宿舍- Sushe- Dormitory

  10. 办公室- Bangongshi- Office

  11. 楼- Liu- Building

  12. 邮局-Youju- post office

  13. 银行-Yinhang- Bank

  14. 医院-Yiyuan-Hospital

  15. 商店- Shangdian-Shop

  16. 书店-Shudian- Book shop

  17. 知道- Zhidao-to know something

Sample Conversations


A: 请问, 图书馆在 那人? (Qingwen, tushuguan zai nar?)                                                 ( Excuse me, where is the library?)

B:就在那人 (Jiu zai nar) (It is just there)


A:请问,邮局在那人?(Qingwen,Youju zai nar?)                                                    (Excuse me, where is the post office?)

B:对不起,我不知道。(Duibuqi, wo bu zhidao) (Sorry, i dont know)


A:你去哪人? (Ni qu nar?) (Where are you going?)

B: 我去天安门。(wo qu tiananmen) (I am going to tiananme)


Note:

  1. 请问 (Qingwen) is a polite form of inquiry, used to ask someone something. It should be used before the question that will be asked.
